SummaryThis position functions primarily in the Orthotic-Prosthetic Laboratory Section of the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service for the Adam Benjamin Jr.
CBOC. The O/P provides the appropriate prosthetic/orthotic devices and treatment. Participates and/or assists in the evaluation and research studies. Responsible for designing and fabricating prostheses/orthotics of unusual or developmental design for the more complex cases.This position is authorized for a Relocation/Recruitment Incentive.

Major Duties:
- Performs a comprehensive assessment of the patient to obtain an understanding of the patients prosthetic/orthotic needs.
- Creates a comprehensive prosthetic/orthotic treatment plan to meet the needs and goals of the patient.
- Performs the necessary procedures to deliver the appropriate prosthetic/orthotic services, which may include fabrication of the prosthesis or brace.
- Provides continuing patient care and periodic evaluation to assure/maintain/document optimal fit and function of the device.
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulations regarding human resource management, physical environment management, business/financial management and organizational management.
- Participates in personal and professional development through continuing education, training, research and organizational affiliations.
Work Schedule:
Full time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
