Position Purpose:

As a Shred-it Route Driver with a commitment to delivering exceptional service, you will cater to all client document destruction requirements. This entails transporting materials and supplies safely, adhering to company policies, and complying with local and federal regulations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring secure cargo transportation.

Key Job Activities:
  • Conducts onsite/offsite confidential document destruction
  • Performs pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle checks before commencing or concluding daily operations
  • Reports maintenance issues for proper follow-up
  • Operates company equipment safely to minimize risks
  • Ensures compliance with driver fitness and service hour regulations
  • Maintains accurate DOT logs when necessary
  • Ensures secure handling of confidential materials during collection
  • Manages assigned routes efficiently and promptly services customer accounts
  • Addresses customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively
  • Executes additional assigned tasks as needed
Education:
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience (North America & LATAM):
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in driving shred/box trucks and route oversight
  • Valid driver's license (Class D or higher) with a clean driving record
  • Potential need for mandatory immunizations and credentials based on client specifications
  • Proficiency in English to understand traffic signals, respond to inquiries, and maintain records as per federal regulations
Certifications and/or Licenses:
Driver's License, Medical Examiner's CertificationBenefits:
