NW Employment is partnered with a Veteran owned Heavy Equipment manufacturing company in Sherwood, OR, and we are looking to add Skilled Machinist to join our team

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

2 – 10+ years' experience

Set- up and operate conventional mill and/or lathe

Proficiency in technical skills/technical math

Ability to blueprint reading

Ability to use of calipers, micrometer, depth micrometer, bore micrometer, and height gauge

Fanuc and Haas control panels knowledge

Setup fixturing's

Do tool offsets

High degree of patience and attention to detail

  • Must be able to wear steeltoed boots and metatarsal guards.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background check, drug screen, and respirator exam.

Swing Shift Schedule:
Multiple


Ideal candidate will know how to run a Horizontal Boring Mill, and requires experience handling and setting up large parts.

Will require running a vertical lathe. 3-5 years minimum experience preferred. .
