Job Description The selected candidate will support multiple programs, but is primarily responsible for the execution processes of New Ship Construction C4I Integration tasks. Will also be responsible for the build of C4I Systems of Systems Racks, cable labeling and testing from provided work instructions. Ensures assembled equipment assigned meets contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements and ensures a safe work environment. Will support additional programs with skill sets that may require minimal travel to support and field schedule support.

The selected candidate performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Provides oversight, guidance and supports assembly, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, diagnostics, maintaining equipment, inventory, CDRL and work assignments. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

This position is located in Summerville, SC. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Summerville or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School diploma and at least 4 years of experience to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Integration, Fielding and Checkout
Experience as an engineering/production technical lead
Electronics background
Demonstrated ability to manage/lead and work within a team with challenging demands
Demonstrated ability to read design prints, follow mandated processes and procedures
Attentive to detail and quality goal oriented
Proven ability to manage material demand and supply and to maintain parts accountability and inventory controls to reduce/prevent loss or shortages
Experience with both rack and cable integration
Proven ability to self-managePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Previous experience leading employees in production environment

  • Supporting lead by example and hands on involvement to support and train
  • Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense/space industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great records management skills
  • Understanding of reporting and process tools
  • Solid people management and interpersonal skills; uses good judgment to resolve conflict
  • Ability to lead in a teambased manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Metrics driven and success oriented
  • Experience obtaining quality results from production builds
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies
  • Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $85950

This range is based on our market pay structures.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:

business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
