Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine Clinical Pathologist to join our dynamic team
_This is a non-tenure, clinician-educator or clinician-scientist, open rank, position for a start date of July 2024._
The successful candidate will join a strong, collegial department of 42 faculty in
Anatomic, Clinical and Experimental Pathology, with a new section of
Molecular Pathology and Cytogenetics forthcoming.
The department is in an exciting growth phase and has a fully accredited residency program of 16 positions and 4 accredited fellowships, including on in
Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
Job Qualifications
- Board-certification or eligibility in Clinical Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine are required
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Patient Blood Management certified or certification eligible through AABB (Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies) or Joint Commission at the time of hire is preferred.
- Certification may be obtained within the first year of assuming the position.
- The position does not offer J1 waiver or H1B sponsorship.
