The Educational Psychology Program at the University of Alabama invites applications for an associate/full professor position to expand its Educational Neuroscience Initiative.We seek a scientist with an interdisciplinary background whose research focuses on understanding neural mechanisms of learning and cognition, and educational implications of neuroscience research.The Educational Neuroscience Initiative at the University of Alabama involves an Educational Neuroscience PhD Concentration and a BSc Program (), under the Educational Psychology Program.We have several active labs engaged in educational neuroscience research.Teach courses in educational psychology/educational neurosciencePh. D. in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience, education, psychology, human development, cognitive science, learning sciences, computer science)Evidence of expertise in one or more neuroimaging techniques (e.g., EEG/ERP, fMRI, fNIRS, MEG)Demonstrated general knowledge and experience in teaching cognitive and educational neuroscience, learning sciences, and/or educational psychology
