The Senior Project Manager provides analytical reviews of data and processes, then formulates recommendations using tools and techniques, facilitates consensus, and implements the best solution. The activities performed by this position drive strategic and operational needs and vary from weekly to quarterly engagement.

This position engages cross-functional resources including Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Corporate Audit, and all Directors across Infrastructure and Reliability organization. With rapidly changing priorities, this position is required to adapt to new direction quickly and support the organization objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in strategic capital planning efforts by capturing and validating project requests by Director area
  • Coordinate changes to capital plans by capturing detail level changes to each project by date of change with capability to track changes over time and between projects
  • Collaborate and validate with Finance on capital project spends
  • Facilitate the capture of resource requests and approvals, validate with HR, Finance, and Vendor Management teams
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for visibility and deep dives into operational data (Power BI, xls, etc.)
  • Analyze data discrepancies, anomalies, and gaps to improve operational functions by identification and recommendation of specific actions to take
  • Extract, analyze, and draft operational performance metrics used for monthly review of performance against goals
  • Liaison with IT Transformation team to harvest operational data, assess opportunities, and collaborate and report on improvements
  • Participate with focus team on workspace planning to meet the needs our current and future workforce

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • Proven data analytics experience leading to recommendations
  • Five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to independently manage tasks, projects, and timelines
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and service-oriented work environment
  • Proven success engaging IT-wide partners to perform assigned tasks
  • Ability to work through complex problems, both technical and functional, identify root cause and recommend solutions
  • Ability to collect and analyze data using tools such as data modeling and data flow diagrams
  • Effective written and oral communication to articulate a problem statement, analytic results, and recommendations
  • Participate in senior leadership meetings to share recommendations, discuss impacts, and willingness to incorporate feedback
  • Ability to work multiple high priority tasks simultaneously meeting expected delivery dates of each
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related information technology field
  • Engage as a change agent when process and policies require change
  • Process modeling education / experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI - development of dashboards, reports, and generation of actionable insights to drive business results
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint to develop, organize, and locate organization artifacts that drive engagement and improved results
