Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. Provide care for pre-procedure/post procedure (diagnostic and treatment procedures) patients and intra procedure patients (including but not limited to: endoscopy, TEE, cardioversion, regional blocks).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current California RN license
  • One (1) year of Telemetry experience in an acute care setting as an RN
  • Procedural Sedation Certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

  • Critical care (PACU ER ICU or equivalent) experience
