We currently have an opening for a Press Assistant on the 2nd shift available at our Cary, IL facility.

  • Assist in the set-up, run, change over, and clean-up of the press according to procedures, and within established production standards
  • Communicate with the oncoming shift all the relevant information to insure an efficient shift change
  • Light maintenance and preventive maintenance of the press
  • Assist in training new press helpers
  • Documentation/Disposal of hazardous waste material
  • Adheres to all plant Safety, AIB and GMP regulations.
  • Follows OSHA safety standards
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work history.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training
  • Must be able to read Standard/Metric measuring tape
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations of standard/metric measurements
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team environment
