VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team in California.

This remote role offers the flexibility of working from home while making a profound impact on the lives of visually impaired students.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing specialized instruction and support to help students with visual impairments access the general education curriculum and reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students in a virtual setting.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met.
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance students' learning experiences.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor students' progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Offer guidance and support to students in developing skills for independence and academic success.
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other required activities.

Qualifications:
Valid CaliforniaTeacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience working with students with visual impairments, preferably in a virtual setting.
Strong knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive materials for visually impaired students.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Passion for helping students with visual impairments succeed academically and personally.
