Concierge Guide

As the concierge guide, you will document every interaction, maintain high-quality data, and suggest solutions to students and department leaders. In this position you will receive a high volume of outbound and inbound calls, in addition to texts and emails. The concierge guide works to enhance the SCAD experience by connecting students to the necessary resource/department. In this position, you will answer all student questions students about navigating SCAD, outreach to students on upcoming events/activities, and contact students to check in on well-being, offering assistance if needed.

As the concierge guide, you will supervise student-staff as needed, provide training, and approve time sheets. You will be expected to participate in extended office hours when necessary to meet student needs and attend SCAD Signature Events on behalf of SCADcares.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience
• Excellent communication skills with an extremely positive demeanor
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with computers and phones and ability to learn new software
• Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and solution-oriented skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hospitality, customer service, or student-facing experience
• Counseling or conflict resolution experience
• Call center experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

• Valid driver's license

Travel Required: Less than 10%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
