Summary

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration in Software Infrastructure & Support Services (TTST) organization of Application Services (TTS), Transmission Technology Services (TT), Transmission Services (T).

A successful candidate in the IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/APPSW) position will serve as an IT specialist performing a combination of applications software and systems administration in support of database infrastructure as a platform service.



Duties

As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/APPSW), you will:

  • Plans and coordinates systems design, development, and implementation.
  • Provides expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
  • Investigates, evaluates, and selects tools and methods for improving productivity and software quality throughout the life cycle.
  • Serves as primary liaison between customers and vendors and IT management throughout the application lifecycle process.
  • Generates and runs simulation models for future applications.
