Join Cherry Bekaert as a Client Support Liaison and help us keep making a difference for our people and our clients.

This role will assist our clients, both internal and external, by facilitating communication and exchange of documents.

As a Client Support Liaison, you will:

  • Provide Client Support
  • Client Communication:
  • Request supporting documents
  • Follow up for signed engagement letters
  • Follow up for signed efile forms
  • Point of contact for nontechnical matters
  • Handle client address/data updates and changes
  • Assist with correcting efile rejections/exceptions and other efile related issues
  • Assist in gathering information for partner/incharge to appropriately address questions, tax notice responses, etc.
  • Manage Due Date Reporting and follow up with IC's (Prioritized by aging and Client Service Level)
  • Schedule meetings with IC to review Due Date Lists
  • Analyze Data (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Assist with workflow management
  • Create nonstandard reports by request
  • Tax Caddy Support
  • Account management
  • Reporting of incoming documents
  • Move workflows into process based on % of documents received
  • Facilitate New Client Onboarding
  • Complete New Client Setup Form (Star)
  • Set up initial workflow(s)
  • Assist with Tax Engagement Acceptance Form
  • Submit data for EL preparation
  • Create return in Axcess
  • Create binder in Engagement
  • Set up Tax Caddy or Portal Account (business)
  • Special Requests / Projects

What you bring to the role:

  • Polished and articulate with an efficiency-focused mindset
  • Customer Service orientation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in fastpaced environment
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential material in a responsible manner
  • A keen attention to details

The hiring range for this position is $24.04-$27.88 per hour.
