Job Description:

Take charge of relevant reporting by collecting data and providing insightful analysis of results. Collaborate across the organization to create and assess monthly budgets and forecasts. Offer financial analytics to bolster key business initiatives and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Offer analytical assistance to Financial Accounting during month-end close, including reconciling actuals to forecasts, investigating abnormal transactions, and explaining variances
  • Support the development of crucial deliverables like presentations, standard reports, and ad-hoc requests
  • Create reports and financial analyses for Senior Management, detailing variations compared to forecasts, plans, and previous periods, along with other requested analyses
  • Engage with key stakeholders from various functions, channels, and locations to establish accurate assumptions and analytical inputs for budgets/forecasts
  • Participate in various business analysis projects when needed
  • Comprehend and interpret essential performance metrics and their fluctuations based on different business periods and events
  • Maintain a keen awareness of pertinent business conditions and trends to offer valuable insights. Leverage technology and systems to fill models, presentations, and simplify workload with a focus on automation
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and error prevention in all tasks
Job Requirements:
  • Capable of collaborating with and influencing peers and senior management
  • Possess strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven individual with meticulous attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • 5/6+ years of relevant business experience
  • Familiarity with specialized financial systems like GL systems, Hyperion/Essbase, Cognos, and other BI interfaces
  • Show proactive behavior with a willingness to expand knowledge and duties continually
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications, with expert knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Display collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and handle various priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
