Level I Trauma, 500 beds
Practice Info: 3 perm GI's and 3 APP's
Dates:
ASAP, ongoing. - Minimum of 1 week/month and prefer a 6-month commitment
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
Worksite Resources: Lab and X-ray on site
Supervision:
Will supervise the Fellows and review their notes but not required to attend faculty meetings
EMR: Cerner and EndoVault
Travel & Lodging: All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered

Setting Options:_
Inpatient Coverage:
\*Monday-Friday, 7 am-5 pm plus evening call coverage- Avg 12 patients/day. Round on inpatients, new consults from ER, perform emergent procedures including GI bleeding, food boluses, foreign bodies, abdominal pain, etc. 5-6 outpatient procedures added to this rotation to fill out the day
\*Saturday/Sunday, 7 am-7 am -Round on inpatients and procedures needed to be done emergently. Also, any emergent consultations and procedures. The provider needs to be able to do conscious sedimentation and admitting. Prefer 7-day block scheduling but can be flexible. Will have two Fellows. No APP's for inpatient service
Outpatient Scopes:
\*Mon-Fri - Will be at the Hospital (typically from 7a-4p) or the Endoscopy Lab (typically 7a-2:30p) This is procedures only with about 12-14 scopes per day. Mixed among EGD and colonoscopy. Will have one Fellow
Advanced GI:
\*Monday-Friday (Times TBD)
\*1/2 Day of Clinic and 4 1⁄2 Days of scoping and potentially do general GI, if available.
