Clinical Wireless Monitoring Supervisor (Norfolk, VA)

The Clinical Wireless Monitoring Supervisor will oversee and support a team of 10-12 direct reports in a cardiac telemetry service center for the ECG Solutions wireless product.

Your role:

  • Oversee the scheduling and performance management of Clinical Wireless employees, monitor daily floor performance, and provide technical assistance to customers and employees.
  • Identify operational improvements and assist with interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding employees.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members and support the implementation and enforcement of policies, processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to ensure team effectiveness.
  • You will work within the Clinical Wireless Monitoring department monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring that the staff delivers a high level of quality in a team-oriented environment.
  • You will work 9:00pm-7:30am ET (4–10-hour days) including a weekend and holiday rotation.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) and an active CRAT/CCT certification or obtain one within 180 days from the date of hire.
  • You've acquired 4+ years of experience as a Clinical Sr. Wireless Monitoring Technician, 1+ years of experience as a Clinical Wireless Monitoring Lead Technician or 4+ years of ECG rhythm interpretation experience; leadership experience with direct reports is preferred.
  • Your skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, a strong technical aptitude and computer skills, and the ability to work in multiple technical mediums simultaneously and have an ability to adapt to change.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an energetic people leader and team player with excellent communication skills. You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and are able to be flexible. You are also a good listener with a high level of patience.
