The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) specialist responsible for base level administration, operation, and maintenance of the 737th Training Group's Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System's computer network, and to provide technical assistance, training, and support to management and customers.



Duties
  • Administers the secure computer networked closed circuit television surveillance system.
  • Conducts problem analysis to identify trends, ineffective practices or procedures, and equipment shortcomings.
  • Serves as the Video Management Systems (VMS) Core administrator/maintainer.
  • Programs switch and router operating system software to ensure reliable communications traffic for all authorized BMT users.
  • Provides customer assistance and/or training for assigned VMS and network systems.
