This is a 12-month, hands-on internship program designed for new graduates. While part of a global cohort, interns will be placed within a specific business and be provided with networking, mentoring, and learning opportunities. Upon completion of the program, interns will be considered for full-time opportunities within other RBC business lines.

  • Generate Trade Ideas and work on the development of new products
  • Use statistical analysis to develop and validate products Ideas such as Quantitative Investment Strategies Support sales in terms of pricing and marketing material
  • Improve the service the desk provides to its clients
  • Participate in the idea generation process
  • Main project is to work on Quantitative Investment Strategies using statistical analysis to develop and validate the algorithm. Assist on processes streamlining and new products development
  • Work on day to day tasks on the Equity derivatives structuring desk (Pricing, backtesting, marketing material ..) Develop Excel/Web/other based tools to automate recurrent tasks
  • Analyse Sales' needs and come up with solutions to improve the desk efficiency and profitability Help Trading/Sales monitor the markets and manage salespeople business flow

MBA or Undergraduate/Graduate degree in finance, economics or mathematics and/or related trading experience Solid understanding of equity markets, derivatives, fixed income, and structured products

Strong written and oral communication skills

Fast-paced environment (trading floor), must be able to cope with stress and pressure Attention to details and high motivation required
