Position Statement:

Position reports to the Director of Purchasing. Receiving Clerk receives, inspects and records shipments of food, beverage and non-perishable products. Responsible to unload items, check contents and quality, log arrival into system and delivery food/beverage to storeroom.

Position Summary: Unloading trucks
Verify delivered items – pricing vs. purchase order and invoice
Inspect deliveries to be in good condition to include food product
Test and maintain food temperature logs
Coordinating loading dock traffic and parking with vendors and deliveries
Delivering items from dock to Storeroom
Establish repour with drivers/delivery agents/companies
Enter non food and beverage items into tracking system; notify of order arrival
Maintain accurate records
Maintain clean and safe work safe
Assist to coordinate and tag customer packages and assure timely delivery

Qualifications

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:Works with a positive "can-do" attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to multitask and attention to detail.

Preferred QualificationsEducation: High School Education or equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: Forklift Certified / Experience
Previous loading dock or receiving experience
Current Food Handlers certificate

The hourly rate is $ $22.70 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
