Automation Architect

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Architect who will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the enterprise-wide test automation framework & automation road map in Corporate services LOB which has enterprise apps for HR, Finance, Procurement, Payment platforms - POS etc.

Responsibilities:

· Client Facing senior automation architect responsible for design, development and implementation of a unified Automation roadmap for all enterprise apps in the LOB

· Consultatively engage with Client Executive Leadership and Delivery Managers to understand the pain points and develop test automation strategy.

· Carry out technical assessment across the application landscape and develop enterprise automation framework.

· Assess client pain points, develop POVs and present to client leadership periodically.

· Develop test automation road map and implementation plan for execution and lead the execution with both onsite and offshore teams.

· Drive innovation and enable team to consistently deliver value adds to client.

· Handle QEA Delivery Governance, Stakeholder Communication and escalation management

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· 13+ years experience Test automation – Java, Python, Selenium, Karate, Tosca, Peoplesoft TF etc.

· Prior experience in automating test cases for ERP apps like Oracle HCM, Peoplesoft finance, Kronos, workday etc.

· Expertise in CI/CD integration, end to end test automation from script development to reporting dashboards – GiT, Jenkins, Grafana, QTest

· Strong expertise in defining automation testing best practices, selection and extension of test automation architecture, frameworks, coding standards, and Automation Testing Strategies of enterprise software platforms, Automation POV, presenting Automation Roadmap to Customer,

· Good understanding of QA processes, industry benchmarks and metrics

· Expertise across multiple automation tools and technologies

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

· Experience in carrying assessments and developing POVs

· Expertise in Cloud technologies - Azure

· Experience in various QA delivery models – in-sprint automation

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $132,000 to $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
