BASIC FUNCTION: The Casino Cashier I is responsible for assisting guests with their gaming needs. The Casino Cashier I will work in a fast paced and exciting environment where they will perform casino transactions with guests as well as other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Six (6) months of previous cashier experience is preferred.

Must be able obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Must possess excellent math skills.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Must be able to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.

Must have the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees.

Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted him/her on a shift basis.

Issues banks to other departments.

Processes table fills and credits.

Can perform all job functions of Casino Cashier II, including processing chip redemptions, credit card advances, marker payments and withdrawals, recording tips and revenues, redeems sports wagering tickets and vouchers, slot jackpots, electronic check transactions, paid ins and outs, etc.

Accesses the Casino Marketing System in order to enter new patron accounts and authorizes and issues player/patron cards in conjunction with the property's loyalty program. Accept and enter coupons, give player account information and any other information requested by a guest.

Completes tax documentation and child support checks as needed.

Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Attends all necessary training meetings.

Assists in other projects, as directed.

Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.

This position can work in the Main Bank if needed.

All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Gaming Operation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Assists in the cleaning and disinfecting of high touch areas such as machines, chairs, counters, atm's etc. as needed.

Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Performs all transactions efficiently and accurately with guests.
