Just like a delicious Chili Cheese Coney, the SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Team Member role is a blend of various food service tasks. From working the Fountain & Frozen station to handling Food Production, Grill, Fryer, Switchboard, and Drive-Thru duties if needed, you'll be at the heart of the action.



What you'll do as a Restaurant Team Member:

  • Take orders and handle cash transactions efficiently
  • Serve our guests with enthusiasm and a smile
  • Ensure all menu items meet our quality standards
  • Prepare beverages, ice cream treats, and food orders
  • Keep the restaurant clean and sanitized, including dishes, counters, and trash disposal

Requirements for Restaurant Team Members:

  • Positive attitude that's infectious
  • Stay calm under pressure
  • Resilient and able to learn from mistakes
  • Desire to grow and develop
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks smoothly
  • Team player willing to pitch in wherever needed
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and basic math skills
  • Adherence to Sonic Drive-In's appearance and hygiene standards
  • Prior experience in food service or retail is a plus
