OVERVIEW

As a Site Merchandising Intern, you will support the site merchandising team in optimizing product placement, assortment curation, and presentation to drive online sales. Responsibilities may include assisting in the curation of collections, execution of merchandising strategies, analyzing site metrics to identify trends and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product placement for marketing efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in e-commerce merchandising and a chance to contribute to the overall success of the online retail business. The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 10th and ends August 2nd. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate product launches and site updates to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sort product daily to optimize online presentation for marketing initiatives
  • Monitor site performance metrics and conduct regular analysis to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
  • Execute merchandising strategies to drive online sales and improve customer experience with guidance from Director of Site Merchandising and Site Merchandising Specialists
  • Support the merchandising team in daily tasks such as product categorization, sorting, and content management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce merchandising to contribute fresh ideas and approaches

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recent graduate or are currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, e-commerce, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for e-commerce and online retail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms or content management systems is a plus
