Mead & Hunt, Inc., a well-known professional consulting firm, is seeking an entry-level civil engineer to join their transportation team. If you're passionate about roadway design and data collection, this might be the perfect opportunity for you

  • Field observations of roadway conditions and data collection
  • Roadway design modeling using Bentley or AutoCAD
  • Preparing cost estimates and specifications
  • Assisting in developing design plans
  • Applying standards from AASHTO Green Book, Highway Capacity Manual, etc.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports, plans, and designs
  • Technical writing and attending client meetings
  • Having a valid driver's license and being open to some travel

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or be on track to obtain one within nine months of hire. Experience with modeling software, passing the Fundamentals Exam, MS Office, or survey/construction inspection is a plus.
