The University of Chicago's Department of Department of Anesthesia; Critical Care seeks full-time faculty members at any rank.

Appointees will join a diverse faculty providing clinical care, producing scholarship, and training the next generation of students and physicians.

Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.


Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty, colleagues, and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, The University of Chicago Medicine including but not limited to Ingalls Memorial, Crown Point Indiana, and our main campus in Hyde Park.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana, and 3) be a BC/BE eligible anesthesiologist.

We especially seek applicants with fellowship training or special interest in cardiac, trauma, neuro, and regional anesthesia.
