Essential Duties:

Lifeguarding and Greeting: Be the friendly face that welcomes guests and members, providing towels and ensuring their safety.Retail Savvy: Know our retail offerings inside out Handle transactions, secure payments, and assist with bike rentals.Set-Up and Breakdown: Help arrange chairs, umbrellas, and pool functions—making our pool area inviting.Vigilance: Conduct regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness and safety.Safety First: Keep a watchful eye on pool areas, ensuring everyone's well-being. Fun Activities: Engage guests with daily pool activities.Attention to Detail: Inspect and replace any missing or damaged items (like umbrellas and chairs).
Additional Responsibilities:

Adhere to and enforce Pool Safety Rules.Prioritize guest requests.Maintain hotel and pool safety standards.Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and High School diploma or GED. Customer service experience preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and knowledge of hotel operations.

Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to handle various situations.

Physical Demands: Be outdoors, stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs, and maintain visual acuity.

Certificates/Licenses:

Red Cross Lifeguard including First Aid & CPR
