Penguin Random House is the premier provider of distribution services in the publishing industry. Our state of the art national fulfillment center located in Reno, Nevada is seeking quality workers. It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers' expectations by picking, packing and shipping

approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.

These part-time warehouse positions allow you to create your own work schedule through an app available on

your smart phone. Eight hour shifts are currently available to choose from. Hours are not to exceed

16 hours per week. NOTICE: This position requires

proficiency in the use of a smart phone. The positions are for:

Light Picker/Packer (Order Processor 1)

Available Shifts:

Monday and Tuesday

  • 6:00am - 2:00pm - $16.00/hr base rate
  • 10:30am - 6:30pm - $16.00/hr base rate plus 12.5% shift differential ($18.00/hr)

Monday thru Friday

  • 9:00am - 2:30pm - $16.00/hr base rate plus 6.25% shift differential ($17.00/hr)

Requirements:

  • Pick and pack customer book orders.
  • Requires basic reading and math skills
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on a regular basis,
  • Occasionally lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
  • Must be 18 years of age.
