Job Summary
The School of ) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a full-time lecturer faculty position in Economics. We seek individuals who are committed to, and show evidence of, excellence in economic education and instructional pedagogy, who can provide leadership in co-curricular and extra-curricular program development, and who wish to fully engage in all aspects of the academic life of the School. Candidates with all areas of emphasis will be considered, although we are especially interested in candidates with a strong background in macroeconomics and related topics or in microeconomic theory, game theory, and IO. Depending on the instructional area of emphasis, courses taught could include a mix of introductory and intermediate economics courses, electives relevant to the candidate's expertise, and masters-level courses.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate economics courses, which could include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, advanced micro and macroeconomics, econometrics, and advanced undergraduate or graduate courses related to the candidate's area of expertise. Lead co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, academic program development, and participate in the governance of the School.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a PhD in economics, or all requirements for the Ph.D. degree completed by August 1, 2024.
