As the Chief, General Law Division; represents the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) as procurement legal advisor and the advisor to the 11th Wing Commander, as well as subordinate and tenant unit commanders, staff personnel, contracting officials, and managers, on a host of general law matters.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Develops goals and objectives that integrate 11 WG/JA, General Law Division, and Pentagon Legal Assistance Office objectives.At the direction of the 11th Wing Staff Judge Advocate, establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff.
Established, develops, and maintains effective working relations with installations and/or wing commanders, directors, and highest level of functions responsibility.
Performs a wide variety of miscellaneous attorney duties. Prepares legal reviews of Inspector General investigations, Congressional Inquiries, Freedom of Information act, and Privacy Act.Provides advice on Standards of Conducts/Ethics Programs. Acts as primary legal advisor and provider of ethics opinions for the Air Force personnel servicing at 11th wing.
