POSITION PURPOSE:

The Project Manager manages complex projects in the Operations function including but not limited to digital workflows, company systems, etc. The Project Manager provides day-to-day project planning, leadership, oversight, direction, interaction with stakeholders, budgeting, forecasting and all other related project management tasks. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Assist in developing business cases and driving projects through company project approval processes

2. Direct and manage project development as it relates to Operations

3. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-operating company teams

4. Develop project plans and associated team structures, and communication documents in collaboration with cross-functional and cross operating company teams

5. Monitor and control project budgets

6. Identify the appropriate work structures and processes to accomplish program goals and objectives

7. Provide progress reporting and prepare presentations for executive communication

8. Program management and development designed to help improve Operations

9. Effectively use metrics to track progress, identify issues, make decisions and improvements

10. Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Knowledge & Competencies:
• Excellent customer service, communication and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Previous Experience/Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years prior project management experience, including managing budgets and forecasting project spend
• 3+ years' experience working on technical or systems related projects
• PMP Certification preferred
• Prior experience utilizing data to drive business decisions and measure results

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
