Summary

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the INFORMATION ASSURANCE DIVISION within the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPT of SUPSHIP GULF COAST.



Duties
  • You will serve as Software Developer on systems managed and co-managed by SUPSHIP GULF COAST (SSGC).
  • You will provide technical expertise in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • You will test builds prior to placing into production and provides operational deployment, support, ongoing maintenance and customizations as authorized.
  • You will determine the feasibility of installations and modifications, and schedules implementation to ensure continuity of operations.
  • You will schedule, monitor and verify the integrity of server/software patches as it relates to impact on custom software/system applications and mission functions.
  • You will configure system components such as servers, workstations, printers and other authorized peripherals needed to support the assigned systems.
  • You will provide advice and guidance in implementing IT security policies, procedures and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
