Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with Series 7/66 certifications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management. Additionally, expertise in succession planning within the financial advisory industry is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients, including retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, tax planning, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and personalized financial advice tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments and analysis to understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Create customized financial plans and investment strategies aligned with clients' objectives and life stages.
- Implement investment recommendations and monitor portfolio performance to ensure alignment with clients' goals and risk profiles.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date and relevant financial advice.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as attorneys and accountants, to offer holistic financial solutions to clients.
- Actively participate in business development activities to expand the client base and grow assets under management.
- Utilize existing book of business to deepen client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Demonstrate expertise in succession planning within the financial advisory industry, including developing strategies for business continuity and transitioning client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required.
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
- Prior experience in succession planning within the financial advisory industry is highly desirable.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fiduciary responsibilities in all client interactions.
