Spanish teacher

Saint James is a historic Episcopal boarding school in Hagerstown, MD, and we seek a Spanish teacher for the upcoming school year. The teaching load is 4 or 5 classes, and the levels are most likely levels 1 and 2. This position requires living in a faculty apartment in one of the dorms, and at this time the housing available is a one-bedroom apartment in our older boys' dorms. In addition to teaching, all faculty members help with a night of dorm/study hall duty, have weekend responsibilities every third weekend, and assist with sports or other activities in the afternoon for one or two seasons. A bachelor's degree in Spanish is required.

Show ability to create and execute creative lesson plans which are creative and include authentic sources.

Excellent writing and speaking skills.

Willingness to live in faculty apartment in one of the dorms and help with duties outside the classroom.
