The Regulatory Analyst is a junior advisor on technical matters and related aspects of regulatory affairs within the Environmental Promotion Office. Under the direction of the Regulatory and Industry Affairs Sr Director, the Regulatory Analyst represents members' interests to federal and state regulatory agencies and similar outside organizations. Location: Remote - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

  • Monitor relevant websites, business journals and attend trade shows and regulatory forums to gather information about products, pricing and capability
  • Review and complete independent industry research and review published research reports and summarize information in internal and external communications
  • Analyze information to inform recommendations in strategy development to include modeling and report writing
  • Analyze technical issues by reviewing impact of proposed standards, codes, federal and state regulations
  • Compose comment letters and position statements
  • Develop and communicate analyses and coordinate with policy and government relations team on proposed standards, codes, and regulations through presentations, bulletins, and other media
  • Prepare presentation materials and make effective presentations
  • Coordinate with other departments to address multifaceted issues that include technical aspects
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree - STEM Degree preferred
  • 1+ Year of work or graduate studies in a STEM-related field

  • Master's Degree
