JOB TITLE:Art Director

LOCATION:Remote, but HQ based in Minnetonka, MN
ELIGIBLE STATES FOR FULL TIME CONVERSION:AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI.
HOURLY PAY RATE:$40 - $50 (on a W2 + benefits) - maximum full time salary is $107,000
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Long term contract with potential for conversion

SUMMARY:As an Art Director the contractor will work with the Creative Director to concept and execute creative solutions that support the client's vision to be the trusted (non profit) health plan of choice. The candidate should be passionate about the business of building brands, fluent in emerging communications trends, and able to translate complex marketing strategies into bold, compelling, sophisticated creative concepts. They will own the brand identity and how it comes to life across the end to end omnichannel experience in support of members, providers, brokers, caregivers, employees and other external audiences. While this person will not have any direct reports, they will be required to mentor and guide a team of creatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with the Creative Director to develop creative strategies, create a creative vision, and drive creative execution across all channels (digital, print, email, social, out-of-home, video, television)
  • Translate brand, experience and marketing objectives into creative strategies
  • Develop playbooks, standards and guidelines to support consistent, on-brand execution
  • Ensure the brand expression are consistently reflected across all deliverables
  • Lead cross-functionally to elevate creative deliverables and ensure seamless execution through formal and informal best practices
  • Analyze market trends, consumer needs and the competitive landscape to evolve and differentiate creative approaches
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • 10 years of Marketing Creative Experience required
  • 6+ years Art Direction experience
  • 5+ years digital experience
  • 2-3+ years of people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a creative team
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in design, copy, photo/art direction and systems thinking
  • Ideally, 2+ years healthcare experience
