The MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a full-time residency core faculty member. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for resident and student teaching and a commitment to caring for the urban underserved with at least two years of experience working with residents preferred. Residency core faculty support the Program Director and Assistant Program Director in a continued tradition of innovative, community-oriented educational excellence and patient-centered clinical care. Responsibilities include: participating in resident recruitment, overseeing resident scholarly activity, ensuring the quality of didactic and clinical education including the maintenance and development of curricula and partner training sites, and working directly with residents to ensure appropriate ACGME milestone development. Inpatient adult medicine skills required, inpatient obstetrical skills preferred, but not required. We are an ACGME accredited 4-4-4 community-based program sponsored by the MedStar Health GME Consortium.
