Child Care Cook

We are hiring a Child Care Center cook to work at one of our centers near USC The position is 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook at Bright Horizons. You'll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

As a Cook, you will:
- Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.
- Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
- Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals, as well as cleaning and complying with sanitation requirements.
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required
- Relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required
- Food Handlers permit preferred

Compensation Range: $18 - $21 / hrThe range of compensation listed here or that may be discussed in the interview process is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
