Founded in 1987, All Creatures Animal Clinic is a busy, 7 doctor, AAHA Accredited Practice in N. Phoenix/Paradi se Valley area that serves small animals and exotics. Throughout the years, the practice has grown tremendously, now serving over 7,000 patients.
The compassionate, quality care provided here is also extended through our outstanding client services team and veterinary assistants/tec hnicians, together they have formed an unbeatable team.
Ideal candidate will have an interest in exotics (such as reptiles, rodents, rabbits, hedgehogs), a passion for dentistry and surgery, and a strong desire to work in a hospital practicing progressive medicine.
Each day we strive to deliver outstanding patient care by providing the highest standard of veterinary medicine, employing dedicated staff, and offering courteous customer service.
Job Summary
In addition to the responsibiliti es outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and supporting medical staff.
This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns
- Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/med i cal/surgical/d ental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort
- Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs
- Maintains client/patient medical/surgic al records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols
- Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, especially exotic medicine
- Assists in the development of the paraprofession al team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service
- Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public
- Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works collaborativel y with hospital team members
- Makes decisions confidently and effectively
- Manages time and tasks appropriately
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

- Familiar with husbandry of exotics
