Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Cardiac PET/SPECT Imaging Department (Dual Head SPECT camera, Cardiac PET RB82 and infusion).Candidate will be required to perform all Nuclear Medicine Cardiac Procedures as well as Quality Control.

The Candidate is required to follow Regulatory Guidelines for operating imaging equipment to administer radiopharmaceuticals and capture images for diagnostic purposes.Responsibilities:

Determines the appropriate sequence for multiple procedure requests and coordinates Nuclear Medicine procedures with other diagnostic procedures and visits. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures. Analyze procedure images for quality and obtain additional images when necessary. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper handling of radioactive materials. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide diagnostic information.Skills: Proficiency in nuclear medicine techniques and procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.Requirements:

Certified in nuclear medicine technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). NMTCB or ARRT certification.

Candidate will be required to perform all Nuclear Medicine Cardiac procedures as well as Quality Control and follow Regulatory Guidelines.Experience is preferable but will train on the individual systems as well as Cardiac PET system as needed.

IV Credentialed, required.

Applicable state license, required.
