WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

As a Scrum Master, you'll be an integral part of the team working towards delivery of our product features. You will be collaborating and learning with your team members, as well as presenting and working with tms management.
The Scrum Master is an organizational leader who works with agile delivery teams, product management, the leadership team, and other parts of the business to improve our ability to deliver value and quality to our customer base. This position will guide and serve teams that deliver technology solutions, through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban Method, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
The Scrum Master will:

  • Ensure Scrum, Kanban and other agile methods are being followed as agreed to by the team
  • Remove barriers and impediments for product development teams
  • Coach team members on Scrum and agile best practices
  • Participate and contribute to product roadmap and release plans
  • Govern the "Definition of Done" process to ensure product and engineering goals are being fulfilled, including, but not limited to: automated test results, security test results, automated CI and CD results and contractual deliverables.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Have 2-3 years serving as an active Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile software development methodologies, values, principles, and practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and empower the team to reach their highest potential.
  • Excellent team player and team builder.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and time sensitive work environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Have strong familiarity with or experience working with SAFe.
  • Scrummed multiple teams including geographically dispersed teams in organizations with hybrid full-time and outsourced resources models.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Have CSM, PMI-ACP or SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master certification.

And we'd love you to have...

  • Industry experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • PMP, SA and/or SPC certifications are highly desired but not required.
