QA Engineer with Automation Exp (Onsite)

Location: Salt Lake City-UT or Houston, TX

Required Skills

Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer, specifically testing iOS applications.

Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.

Demonstrate expertise in Appium framework based on Selenium.

Have extensive knowledge of iOS Testing and Debugging.

Show proficiency in API testing using Postman and REST API service testing.

Exhibit familiarity with utilities and customer relationship management domains.

Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

Experience in creating and deploying builds to development and staging environments.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Good knowledge on testing principles, API testing, mobile testing, great knowledge in automation (Tools like selenium or playwright

Lead the design and execution of test plans for various projects within the utilities and customer relationship management domains.

Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using Selenium

Provide expertise in iOS testing and debugging to ensure seamless functionality across mobile platforms.

Conduct thorough API testing using Postman and REST API service testing to validate backend services.

Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects ensuring high-quality software releases.

Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.

Develop and execute test cases for functional regression testing

Ensure comprehensive test coverage by identifying and prioritizing test scenarios based on project requirements.

Monitor and report on test execution progress providing detailed documentation of test results and defects.

Mentor junior team members sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Contribute to the overall success of projects by ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
