The Scrum Coach Senior will be part of the Platform and Data Solutions, Modern Delivery Portfolio Single-Family line of business, Servicing Program helping to transform the way in which Freddie Mac does business

As part of Platform & Data Solutions organization, we are an eco-system that enables efficient, real-time loan evaluation and purchase decisions across Single Family by providing the right data at the right time to the downstream applications. We are also leading the change to build data solutions using our Cloud Native Data Lake platform that enable consolidating, centralizing and consuming shared data for the enterprise to serve various data analytics and reporting needs.

Lead the team through the delivery of software and services, while embracing and promoting the Agile attitude.

You will partner with Product Management, Product Owners and others to define the mission value to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. This person will also:

• Works with Scrum Team to ensure scrum standard methodologies are followed from the initiation through delivery of Single-Family Servicing and Risk IT projects
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
• Facilitates the management of the product backlog and coordinates with other Scrum Masters to identify and manage cross-team dependencies
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
• Closely tracks and monitors the scrum team's deliverable and reports metrics at the iteration and project levels
• Mentoring and coaching Scrum team to instill agile values and principles and lead by example
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
• Facilitating productivity by mediating through conflicts, helping team to make decisions, and adhering to continues improvement principles
• Keeping Scrum process on track and passing it to the team as self-organization matures
• Helping team adhere to the best engineering practices and makes sure everybody understands technical debt concept
• Demonstrating data to measuring & monitoring progress
• Ensure agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, should be able to be a voice of reason and authority
• Has agile approach, understands what's behind agile values and principles
• Understands Scrum framework very well and understands values that each artifact/role/event brings

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required.
• Kanban certification preferred
• Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture, or other related IT areas)
• Two or more years of explicit experience as an Agile ScrumMaster/Coach of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including large organizations
• Effective facilitation skills
• Effective coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify effective solutions
• Effective influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills
• Hands-on VersionOne/JIRA tool experience preferred.

The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is $106,000 to $158,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
