Academic Dermatology in North Carolina

StartDate: ASAP

Merritt Hawkins, a leading academic search firm, is collaborating with a top-tier medical school to conduct a nationwide search for a new Program Director and additional faculty members. We are looking for a creative educator to lead and expand the medical dermatology training program and team. This opportunity is open to board-certified dermatologists ranging from Associate to Professor levels for the Division Chief position and all ranks for general faculty. Tenure-track or fixed-term appointments are available.

Highlights:

  • Physicians at the Assistant, Associate, and Professor levels are welcome to apply for Program Director and faculty roles.
  • The Program Director will oversee the growth and management of the medical dermatology training program and staff. There is also potential to establish a Med-Derm training program.
  • We are seeking faculty members to contribute to revitalizing and strengthening this esteemed division known for clinical excellence, diverse pathology, and dedicated teaching.
  • Cosmetics: Opportunity to create a cosmetic practice and select new equipment and products. Collaboration with a pediatric plastic surgeon is possible.
  • Pediatrics: Possibility to build a practice with advertisement support and collaborate with a pediatric plastic surgeon.
  • General faculty: Seeking dermatologists passionate about working with medical students and residents for clinical and research roles.
