Job Description:
client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead go-live planning and coordination for the Criminal and Rap Back Information System (CRIS) project. The incumbent will serve as the Team Leader for the go-live planning and coordination team, overseeing all aspects of the CRIS implementation.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of CRIS implementation, from planning to post-release refinement.
  • Coordinate CRIS testing, release rollout, and post-release activities.
  • Work with CRIS suppliers, interface partners, and VSP Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and IT Divisions.
  • Document and coordinate tasks with VSP IT and interface partners for each release plan.
  • Plan and lead simulated rollouts before each CRIS release.
  • Define implementation requirements through analysis of the CRIS solution.
  • Coordinate the creation, scrubbing, and use of test data for various testing scenarios with the test data team.
  • Assist management in creating change management plans.
  • Update staffing plans and job descriptions.
  • Coordinate employee training and assignment of CRIS user roles.
  • Work with external stakeholders and customers, soliciting and analyzing employee input and guidance.


Required Skills:

  • Experience in developing and executing system test and implementation plans.
  • Proficient in managing security access and user profile management.
  • Prior experience implementing cloud-hosted Software As A Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to build rapport and positive working relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with various groups.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working on criminal justice projects.
  • Knowledge of functional and nonfunctional system requirements analysis.
