This position is a per diem and would be helping facilitate groups. Hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 5:30pm -9:30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Case management – overall coordination of a patient's care while receiving outpatient services, including communication with family, referral, and other concerned persons., communication with referral sources, assessment of patient progress and communication to the clinical team regarding special treatment needs and procedures.The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for facilitating assessments such as level of care evaluation, psychosocial interview/integrated summary and complete all associated documentation and communication with the treatment team.Facilitate group and individual therapy that is consistent with patient treatment goals on their treatment plans. Complete all associated documentation.Provide family therapy when it is clinically appropriate. Assessing family dynamics and supporting the family system as a whole. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for documenting treatment plans, progress notes, treatment plan updates, case consultations, telephone calls and discharge summaries in the patient records in a timely fashion. This includes the coordination of assessments from the multidisciplinary treatment team in according to Caron policy and procedures.Aftercare care assessment and planning – assess unresolved and deferred problems and write goals and objectives in the aftercare plan, and coordinate this with the Financial Continuing Care Specialist when necessary.Responsible for the collection of random urine drug screen and breathalyzer samples from patients when indicated and relaying the results to the patient.Responsible for completing necessary utilization review information and forwarding it to the Financial Continuing Care Specialists.The Outpatient Therapist is expected to work within the ethical constraints of their respective counselor/therapist roles, and other professional or organizational ethical standards as they apply to the position.Assume responsibilities such as coordination of internship training programs, perform speaking engagements for targeted groups in the facility and general community, represent the facility on clinical/administrative committees, assist in training new staff and consult or provide other treatment services at Caron facilities as assigned.This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work extended hours, travel as neededMust be able to deliver presentations that may be both multiple times and for lengthy time periodsMust be able to lift up to 20 lbs.Must be able to climb stairsThis is a safety sensitive positionEducation, Experience, Qualifications:Master's Degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline with 6 months clinical experience.Licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience preferred.Experience in the area of facilitating group therapy required.Knowledgeable in adolescent or adult developmental issues for their respective fields.If in recovery, 2 years of uninterrupted sobriety preferred.Must comply with ACT 33 of Pennsylvania law to work with youth populations.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be familiar and be able to demonstrate knowledge of evidence based modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.Must be trauma informed (be able to provide certifications or other evidence of training).Must possess good verbal and writing skillsKnowledgeable in adolescent or adult developmental issues for their respective fieldsMust possess the willingness and capacity for growth, both personally and professionallyMust have the ability to be objective, empathetic while addressing the individual needs of the respective patients, referrals, and family membersMust be computer literate and able to work with most Microsoft applications along with network componentsMust have fluid communication skills and the ability to document insights and observations in a clinical recordMust possess a high degree of professionalism and be able to keep confidential information and treat sensitive clinical information ethicallyMust be able to keep all clinical work within the guidelines of the Pennsylvania Certification Board ethical standards throughout his/her work. #IND101
