The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Work Leader in the performance of the Interior Electric Shop duties such as maintenance/installation of transformers, electrical distribution panels, circuit wiring, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, electrical motors, schematics, contactors, relays, VFD's, AC systems, basic knowledge of Fire and Intrusion Alarms.

Duties

1. Assigns individuals or crews specific tasks in accordance with instructions received from supervisor.

  • Checks work for compliance with supervisor's instructions.
  • Maintenance and installation of electrical distribution systems such as proper sizing/installation of transformers, power panels and break installation.
  • Uses tools and other equipment in a safe manner, utilizing safety practices and procedures and complies with established safety rules and regulations.
