Description/Summary: The Academic/Student Support Associate position is responsible for work performed in a variety of office tasks. Duties will include but are not limited to performing general office duties; serving as receptionist; performing tasks related to new LPN student orientation and graduation; providing admissions/enrollment information to students and prospective students; entering data into online student information management system; and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the LPN Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required (A comparable combination of education and directly related experience may be considered)

2-4 years of previous experience working in an office setting

Courteous and pleasant demeanor with co-workers, students, and the general public

Ability to communicate in various forms effectively and tactfully with employees, students and public at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications: Related technical diploma

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Mature attitude and dependability required

Knowledge and demonstrated experience using multiple business software applications, including on-line record systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees
