As a Gulf Coast Joint Venture Geospatial Biologist your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Conducting geospatial planning and landscape habitat assessments in support of partnership-oriented migratory bird habitat conservation within the Gulf Coast Joint Venture (GCJV) region.

Acquiring and processing remotely sensed or other available geospatial data that contribute to avian conservation plans or other science and planning needs.

Providing technical advice on the application of geospatial science to migratory bird biological, management, or conservation issues.
Managing and querying geospatial databases of managed lands within the GCJV geography.
Developing maps, decision-support tools, reports, and other external facing products for GCJV partner end users.
