Responsibilities:

  • Perform transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards
  • Inspect, diagnose, service and/or repair all assigned transit vehicles and mechanical equipment
  • Ensure accurate upgrades and/or modifications on coach systems, road calls, and ontheroad repairs as needed
  • Read and interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
  • Coach and monitor team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

  • 21 years or older
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record.
  • 3+ years' Maintenance experience with all types of heavyduty transit. equipment.
  • Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.
