Job Overview

The Pharmacist is responsible for the day to day operations of a clinic pharmacy. The PIC will be listed on the Board of Pharmacy's website and associated with the pharmacy license for the location to which they are assigned. Pharmacist-in-Charge will be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and coordination with the Pharmacist. Will also serve as a Pharmacist and perform professional and clinical duties in the dispensing of medications to patients and clinic.

Minimum Requirements

1. Graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license required or be certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) issued by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy

2. High Volume Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.

3. Minimum of one (1) year of experience directing pharmacy workflows; two (2) years of related experience strongly preferred.

4. Minimum one (1) year of experience directing pharmacy regulatory/compliance activities to include: Experience working with Regulatory agencies to include but not limited to DEA, SBOP, CMS, FDA; Experience with Compliance audits and remediation; Experience resolving compliance/regulatory discrepancies.
